- Government Printing and Publishing Services (GPPS) is mandated to provide printing and publishing services to the entire government.

Key functions of department
- Provides printing services to all government Ministries, Departments and Parastatals. This includes production of official publications such as policies, commission reports, statutory instruments and Government stationery such as leave forms, file covers, patient cards, etc.
- Supports dissemination of Government information through Government Bookshops which are located in Gaborone, Serowe, Francistown and Maun
- Facilitates the Attorney General and National Assembly in the process of Legislative Drafting and Publishing.
- It is also responsible for printing of the Government News Paper – DailyNews.
